The Center for Emotional Intelligence and Practical Wisdom, Europe is a Budapest (Hungary) based educational platform (for self-education).
In particular, we seek to create awareness of European wisdom traditions such as those of Plato and Aristotle, (Platonism and Aristotelianism) and of the creativity of men of genius such as for example J.W. von Goethe, Woeres Sandor (the great Hungarian Poet described by Ted Hughes as ‘a towering poet’) and Leonardo da Vinci.
Our centre seeks to raise awareness of EQ (emotional intelligence) and particularly what the philosopher Aristotle called the master virtue: practical wisdom.
Our centre is non-sectarian.
